<dc:title>Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to G W Walker, Trinity College, Cambridge</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rucker is desired by the President and Council to draw Walker's attention to the enclosed remarks on his paper by one of the referees. The paper cannot be published until he deals satisfactorily with these objections. The Royal Society cannot let the paper to leave its custody for an indefinite time, if Walker thinks he cannot deal with the difficulties quickly then they can be deposited in the archives.

Provides Walker with a lengthy critique of his paper, including the criticism that he has not paid sufficient attention to the proofs of his fundamental theorems.</dc:description>
