Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [William Mitchinson] Hicks, Fellow of the Royal Society Dr Joseph Larmor has passed on Hicks' letter requesting that a proposal for foreign membership on behalf of Professor Michaelson should be entered in the Recommendation Book. It has been custom for recommendations to be entered in the book in autograph by members of Council. Harrison feels uneasy changing this practice to having the entries come from the office. 25 March 1902
