  <dc:description>Regarding his paper, after taking reports from the referees, the Sectional Committee have decided to recommend to the Council that the author should recast[?] the paper, so that it may be about  half of its present length in view of it being recommended for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' in the abridged form, with the number of diagrams reduced. If he is happy with this the matter might be put to the Council on 29 May.
