<dc:title>Copy letter from Sir Michael Foster, to The Secretary, Church Missionary Society, Salisbury Square</dc:title>
<dc:description>They are doubtless aware of the disastrous outbreak of Sleeping Sickness in Uganda. Three observers, Dr G C Low, Dr C Christy and A Castellani, have been chosen as observers to investigate in the hope of finding some means to combat the disease. On behalf of the President and Council, Foster requests that the Church Missionary Society in Uganda will offer such facilities and assistance to the observers as may be in their power.

The observers sail for Mombasa on 30 May and will proceed to make their way to Mengo, and will be glad for any letters of introduction they can give them.</dc:description>
