<dc:title>Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to [Carsten Egeberg] Borchgrevink </dc:title>
<dc:description>A year ago Council undertook to work out the magnetic and meteorological results of the Borchgrevink expedition, on the understanding that a subsidy of £40 would be provided. The work has been completed, and the question now arises about its publication. It is not suitable for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', but the Council would be willing to publish it separately if a subsidy was provided, as the publication fund has been running into arrears.

If Borchgrevink could give an answer on the subsidy, a final decision might be made.</dc:description>
