<dc:title>Copy letter from A H White, to Professor Diederik Johannes Korteweg, Vondelstraat 104, Amsterdam</dc:title>
<dc:description>In answer to Korteweg's enquiry the Society agrees that there is no publication of the 'Phiolosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' between September 1691 and October 1692. They have no reason whatever for believing that there was any unofficial number published for October to December 1691. Having looked in the Minutes of Council it appears that the 'Philosophical Transactions' was temporarily halted about 1691 and 1692.</dc:description>
