Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Richard B Pilcher, Institute of Chemistry, 30 Bloomsbury Square, W.C. In reply to Pilcher's letter of the previous day, a 'Preliminary Report on the Recent Eruption of the Soufriere, in St Vincent, and of a visit to Mount Pelée in Martinique, by Drs Anderson and Flett, appeared in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' LXX, number 465. A copy can be obtained from Messrs Harrison & Sons, 45 St Martin's Lane at two shillings. A full report is being prepared and Harrison hopes to receive it in a week or two. 9 October 1902
