<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Frederick William Gamble, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Regarding Gamble's letter of the 26 July, Professor Herdman must have been under a misapprehension regarding Gamble's paper. It is absolutely inconsistent with the Society's practice to decide as to the publication of a paper before it has been presented and considered. The paper is presently with referees and there are powers providing for the Chairman of the Sectional Committee to decide as to the publication, upon the reports of the referees. Once a decision is made the Fellow who communicated the paper will be notified. </dc:description>
