<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to His Excellency, the Marquis de Soveral, [Luis Maria Augusto Pinto de Soveral], 12 Gloucester Place, W. </dc:title>
<dc:description>The Royal Society working in conjunction with His Majesty's Government, is conducting an investigation into Sleeping Sickness which has broken out in a serious form in Uganda. The Committee investigating the matter has had its attention called to a report on the disease sent to the Portuguese Minister of Marine by the Scientific Committee sent to study the disease in West Africa, of which a somewhat imperfect translation has appeared in an English medical journal. Queries if the Marquis can obtain the original document for use by the Committee. </dc:description>
