<dc:title>Copy letter from Augustus Edward Hough Love to, Professor Joseph David Everett, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Regrets to inform him that it has been decided that his paper 'On Skew Refraction through a Lens, etc' should not be published in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. The large amount of tabular matter relating to the assumed data of a special case, without which the paper would be rather slight, was thought undesirable. They would like the results in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' in abstract form with all the plates. Gives detailed particulars of suggested modifications to extend the abstract satisfactorily. </dc:description>
