<dc:title>Copy letter from A H White, to Alfred Bray Kempe, Treasurer, Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Sir M Foster has instructed Kempe to proceed with the Keeble and Gamble plates, estimated at £100. [William] Bateson, Chairman of the Zoology Committee, made a suggestion which if accepted might save £12 or £15 but as it involved the omission reduction and cutting down the figures, Foster thought the saving hardly commensurate with the loss to the paper and for that reason thought it best on the whole to proceed with the plates as they are. </dc:description>
