<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr William Thomas Blanford, Fellow of the Royal Society </dc:title>
<dc:description>At the last Council Meeting, in consequence of a letter from the India Office declining to give the help which had been asked for Stanley Gardiner's Expedition, it was referred to the Committee appointed on 30 April to settle a letter to Admiralty seeking their assistance in the matter. Sir M Foster has accordingly drafted the enclosed, and will be much obliged if Blanford will return this with amendments or comments [not enclosed]. It has already been submitted to Captain Tizard, the other member of the Committee.</dc:description>
