Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Carruthers, Fellow of the Royal Society Harrison sends an application form for the Scientific Relief Fund in response to Carruthers' letter of the previous day, and notes that it need not be signed by the intended beneficiary of the application, but instead may be signed by the President of the Society recommending it or the individual promoting it. In reference to the subject due for discussion the following week, Harrison has given Carruthers' letter to the the President, who is likely to inform the Council of its contents. 13 January 1904
