In Dr Buchan's ATLAS OF METEOROLOGY which we have in the Library here, I find a reference to his Report on the "Rainfall of South Africa, 1885-94" as being published at Cape Town in 1897, but the Royal Society Library does not possess it. Possibly they might have it at the Meteorological Society.
