Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Rose Bradford, Fellow of the Royal Society On the recommendation of the Tropical Diseases Committee, the Council of the Royal Society believe it is desirable to bring to the attention of Government departments concerned in the Sleeping Sickness and Malaria investigation, and the Lister Institute, to the need for resources for the study of Trypanosoma and similar parasitic Protozoa, with knowledge of their development being crucial to advancing their understanding. They have referred the matter to a small committee, comprised of John Rose Bradford, Sir Michael Foster, Professor Halliburton, Professor Edwin Ray Lankester and Mr Sedgewick, to prepare a scheme to execute the recommendation, with a proposed first meeting on 26 February at 3pm. 22 February 1904
