<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Crookes, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison responds to Crookes letter of 20 December to inform him that Edward Matthey's certificate has been up 16 times, and is therefore ineligible for any more re-suspensions. He states that all Fellows of the Royal Society were informed via a Circular, from which he quotes, of a revision of Statutes which means that candidates may only be considered for five years on the same certificate. If Crookes wishes to continue Mr Matthey's candidature he will need a new certificate to be made out for him.</dc:description>
