Harrison reports that the Soirée Committee have chosen not to accept Appleyard's apparatus of the "conductometer' for the forthcoming Ladies Soirée on 22 June, as it is 'too technical' for that event, though it may have been considered for the May Soirée had it been mentioned earlier.
