  <dc:description>In response to the Under Secretary's letter applying for Royal Society publications, they will present the Geological Library of the Department of Mines with a Report on the Martinique eruptions and Magnetic and meteorological observations made by the "Southern Cross". Harrison, however, states that they no longer have the power to issue copies of the Report on the Krakatoa eruptions free of charge, but that applications may be made to purchase the report from Messrs Kegan Paul Trench, Trubner &amp; Company.</dc:description>
