Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society Glazebrook's proposed arrangements seem to be all that can be desired. If he can take the tidal observations and the Meteorological Office the deep sea temperatures, Geikie feels the Committee will approve. Geikie is under the impression the deep sea temperature observations will be handed over to Dr [William Napier] Shaw. In the meantime, Glazebrook may act as he proposes. Dr John Milne has agreed to undertake the Seismological Observations, and Bernacchi's observations, which are at the Admiralty, are to be sent to him without delay.
