<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Messrs Harrison & Sons</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Tenders for printing of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' are now under consideration. Given the firm's long connection with the Royal Society, it would be a shame if this was severed. But they have given no information regarding the procedure which they would propose to follow. Mr C Harrison had an interview with the Secretaries, and his attention was drawn to complaints regarding the defective character of the proofs issued of the Mathematical printing. Before coming to a decision, Council would like to know what steps they would take to ensure such work can be read by persons expert.</dc:description>
