<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Dr Georg Balthasar von Neumayer, Foreign Member of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Regarding the loan of the manuscript observations on Terrestrial Magnetism, which von Neumayer made at Melbourne some 45 years ago, Harrison regrets to inform him that he cannot track the manuscripts down. Has made enquiries at both the Kew Observatory and the Meteorological Office. The date they were presented to the Royal Society was shortly before a change of premises. Hopes a further search shall find them. There will be no difficulty in obtaining permission for his purpose.</dc:description>
