<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Thomas Clifford-Allbutt, Fellow of the Royal Society, 3 Melbury Road, W.</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
It is not at all improbable that Mr Robson's [Arthur William Mayo-Robson] paper will be read on the 9th Jany [January] - if so, notice will be sent to you on Friday. It is not necessary [underlined] for you to attend, as the Secretary can read the paper; but it is very desirable to have your presence, especially if the author is not likely to attend in person.
Yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
