<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Drake & Gorham</dc:title>
<dc:description>In response to their letter of yesterday, Rix states that the Royal Society would prefer that their men should not start upon the alteration of the position of switches until Friday, providing the work can be completed in two days. Rix asks that they let Mr Saunders, or another competant person, to attend their Soirée to demonstrate with the electric lantern, and asks that the new 'gut' be put in the lantern before that occasion.</dc:description>
