<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Edward Bagnall Poulton, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
If the "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society] are in good condition and complete, the offer is cheap - several of the vols. [volumes] being out of print. The "Transactions" ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'] are very cheap. As a F.R.S. [Fellow of the Royal Society] you could purchase them at one third of the published price, but this would come to about £57. £35 is, therefore, distinctly cheap.
Yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
