Could you send me a card to explain whether these are selected by yourself individually or in conjunction with Messrs Galton &amp; Lankester [Francis Galton and Edwin Ray Lankester]. I wrote to Prof Lankester on the 10th inst [instant] asking him to arrange a meeting with you &amp; Mr Galton to make the selection, but I never received any answer from him.
