<dc:title>Copy letter from Alfred H White, to Dr Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>White records that Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] has Professor [William Crawford] Williamson's letter, but states that there is no rush. White also notes that they received an instalment of the Lendenfeld monograph, but he noticed that a plate had been omitted and immediately sent a letter of enquiry. He believes the only solution to the problem, which is entirely the fault of Harrison & Sons, is to to paste the plate in all copies of the edition, meaning loss of time. Work on the copies already delivered has begun.</dc:description>
