Copy letter from Alfred H White, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society White writes to announce, at the instruction of Dr Michael Foster, that the 'Thylacoles' fossil has arrived at the Royal Society from Sydney, and to ask for his instructions on the subject. The fossil could be forwarded, but Foster is said to be anxious about exposing the specimen to further risk. 7 September 1889
