<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Ashwell Shenstone, Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix provides Eadweard James Muybridge's address, and notes that he returned to town on 19 September. He cannot tell Shenstone anything about fees, aside from the fact the Royal Society gave him none but went to some expense in making preparations for him. The Society also purchased a set of his photographs at 20 guineas. Rix notes that as this was an exceptional case, no precedent has been set.</dc:description>
