<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Henry Edward Armstrong</dc:title>
<dc:description>The secretaries of the Royal Society have directed Rix to ask whether Armstrong can return the papers referred to him, namely: 'The assimilation of carbon by green plants from certain organic compounds' by E H Acton; 'On the rate of decomposition of chlorine-water by light' by Dr George Gore; and 'Researches on the chemistry of Camphoric acids' by J C March. Rix notes that the first two have been with him since June, and asks if he is right in believing them to still be in his hands.</dc:description>
