Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Trübner & Company Rix reports that he has examined their account sales received that morning, finds them correct, and so asks that they send the Royal Society their cheque for 144 pounds, 13 shillings and four pence. He notes it would be most convenient if they could have received it by Monday, so that it can be included in the balance at their audit. 8 November 1889
