'Sir, In answer to your inquiry of Novr [November] 28th I have to inform you that there is no Fellow of the Royal Society of the name of Henderson. He may possibly be a Fellow of the Royal Society of Victoria, but that of course is a very different matter. Even in that case he has not right to the letters F.R.S. after his name.
