<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the adjutant, Commissionaires Office, 419a Strand, W.C.</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Sir,
On Saturday last the Commissionaire appointed to stand outside Willis's Rooms & send the people on to Hotel Metropole presented his a/c [account] while the dinner at the hotel was going on. I sent out the cash by the waiter, but the Commissionaire did not return the receipt. I should be glad to have receipt for the 3/1 which I paid. It is wanted as voucher in the accounts.
I enclose stamp for postage.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
