Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Editors, 'Geological Magazine' The Council has under its consideration the Editors application for a grant to aid the publication of a forty year index of the 'Geological Magazine' and offers a grant of £50 towards the publication of the index, subject to the Officers being ensured that the publication cannot be carried through without this grant, and provided that the material of the index be placed at the service of the Society for the purpose of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers'.
