Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Hugh Longbourne Callendar, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physics and Chemistry Committee Encloses Mr Newall's report on Mr Baxandall's paper, together with a report by Mr Dyson, to whom Professor Larmor referred the paper for a second opinion [not enclosed]. In view of these two unfavorable reports Larmor proposes the author be communicated with a view to the withdrawal of his paper. Encloses Sir Norman Lockyer's reply to Mr Newall's criticism with reference to the paper on mu Centauri, together with a note by Mr Dyson, to whom Larmor referred the paper on receipt of the author's letter [no enclosures]. In view of Dyson's report, Larmor has authorized the printing of the paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. 13 February 1905
