<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Henry Selby Hele-Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>With reference to Hele-Shaw's letter of 6 February, Harrison wrote to Mr Morrow to enquire about the paper Hele-Shaw referred to since the Society had heard nothing of any paper excepting the one on the distribution of stress in the cross section of a beam, published in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society'. This morning Harrison has received a paper from Morrow titled, 'On the distribution of Velocity in a Viscous Fluid over the Cross-section of a Pipe, and on the action at the Critical Velocity', as communicated by Hele-Shaw.

No certificate of candidature for Captain Bacon has arrived and Harrison is writing a note to Dr Elgar about it. Now the certificate cannot be considered until next year, because the selection of the 15 for this year has already taken place. </dc:description>
