<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor [Walter Frank Raphael] Weldon, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Encloses the letters from Ray Lankester and Sedgwick in reference to Bastian's paper [not enclosed]. Lankester and Sedgwick both adhere to their view that the abstract of the papers should be printed in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and he presumes Weldon will now agree that this course should be followed. With Weldon's concurrence proposes to ask Bastian to look at the the Cracovie [Krakow] paper and to consider whether any reference should be made to it. Asks that the letters sent herewith are returned.</dc:description>
