Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Monsieur George M Johnson, Directeur du 'Petite Journal du Brasseur', Brussels They have made a careful search in the year Johnson's quotes and in other early volumes of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', but have not succeeded in finding any drawings of yeast as seen under the microscope by A von Leeuwenhoek. Leeuwenhoek made a great number of communications to the 'Transactions', but the list of their titles does not mention yeast. Thinks there must be some mistake in Johnson's reference. 3 July 1905
