  <dc:description>In reply to the Secretary's letter of 3 June permission of Council is required for publishing the paper by Professor Farmer, Dr Moore and Mr Walker, besides that of the authors. In any case it should not be published before it has appearec in the publications of the Royal Society. Should permission be granted he shall be glad to instruct the printers to supply the Secretary with electros of the blocks which they will do at a small cost. It is a rule of the Society never to lend the original blocks. </dc:description>
