<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor [John] Milne, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>This mornings post bring a letter from Dr [Charles] Chree in which he says it will not be possible for Milne to see him tomorrow owing to the engagements Milne has already made for the day in London. Geikie spoke to Chree last week and it seemed very desirable to him that Milne and Chree should meet to discus various points that have arisen in the course of Chree's Antarctic work. Geikie therefore strongly urges they arrange a meeting. The Royal Society will gladly make the same financial arrangement with Milne as on previous occasions. </dc:description>
