Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Andrew Noble, Fellow of the Royal Society The charge for Noble's plates was made by the Royal Society's printers by mistake. When the paper was sent to press and Noble's private copies ordered, the printers should have been told that no charge was to be made for the plates. Can only apologize for the oversight and expresses regret that he should have been thus troubled. Encloses a circular which will explain the charge [not enclosed]. 1 November 1905
