The letter Hart refers to from the Royal Society dated 15 June, was merely an acknowledgement of Hart's letter of application, not a promise to send the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' to the Stamford Library. Since the date of Hart's application this matter has been referred to the Library Committee, who do not see their way to granting the request. 24 November 1905
