Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Crookes, Fellow of the Royal Society Harrison states that the Committee were sorry not to have Crookes acting as Chairman at their Friday meeting, but that nothing significant was decided. He conveys their impression that the May Soirée has been too crowded recently, and their decision to limit invitations to Colleges to professors and assistant professors in scientific subjects.
