Copy letter from Professor Joseph Larmor, to the Under Secretary of State for India, India Office, S.W. The President and Council of the Royal Society, after consideration, submit the names of Professor Wyndham Rowland Dunstan, Scientific Director of the Imperial Institute and Dr Morris William Travers, Professor of Chemistry at University College Bristol, for the role of Principal for the Tata Institute in Bangalore, at the proposal of the Indian Government. The submission of two names is due to the uncertain purpose of the Tata Institute. Dunstan and Travers would both look favourably on an offer of the role. 6 April 1906
