Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Major Ross Geikie communicates the opinion of the two referees, that although Ross's note on the specimen he exhibited at the meeting on 7 December is worthy of attention, the Proceedings of the Royal Society does not represent the most suitable publication, and he recommends communicating it to an appropriate scientific journal. 20 December 1905
