Harrison has received, from Bruce, a copy of a letter from Eyre, and responds to his reference to money. Harrison sent a requisition to the Colonial Office immediately after Easter for his subsistence allowance and remuneration, and received a notice confirming that they had arranged for payment to be made to Eyre, whose action in this regard is hasty and likely to lead to confusion. 21 May 1906
