<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr J Eyre, Mediterranean Fever Commission, Malta</dc:title>
<dc:description>Colonel David Bruce has forwarded Eyre's letter of 14 May in which he explains that he is asking the Lieutenant Governor to pay his allowance and personal pay from local funds. The Colonial Office notified them 10 days ago that the Crown Agents were instructed to pay his salary and subsistence into his account from the 1 April, and Harrison fears confusion will be caused in the accounts if Eyre makes such a request. The Colonial Office have said that local authorities have permission to pay anything due to Eyre for the period before 1 April.</dc:description>
