<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary, Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Has Geikie's letter of the previous day returning Oliver and Boyd's letter. The reference to Scrope's paper on Vesuvius is quite right as Geikie will see from the enclosed note [not enclosed].

Nothing has come from the Colonial Office about the printing so he will enquire of Mr Lucas. Encloses two notes which came today [not enclosed].

Has a card from Sir M Foster today stating no one can come to the proposed meeting about the Royal Society of Edinburgh so that will not take place this week.</dc:description>
