Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary, Royal Society Has Geikie's letter of the previous day returning Oliver and Boyd's letter. The reference to Scrope's paper on Vesuvius is quite right as Geikie will see from the enclosed note [not enclosed]. Nothing has come from the Colonial Office about the printing so he will enquire of Mr Lucas. Encloses two notes which came today [not enclosed]. Has a card from Sir M Foster today stating no one can come to the proposed meeting about the Royal Society of Edinburgh so that will not take place this week. 12 July 1906
