<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to [Edwin Ray] Lankester, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Encloses a copy of a letter from the Colonial Office [not enclosed], received this morning. As the coast is now clear as far as finances go Geikie thinks it most desirable the sub-committee appointed for the purpose of carrying on experimental work [regarding Sleeping Sickness] should start operations as soon as possible. If Lankester as Chairman of the Tropical Diseases Committee approves, Geikie will summon the sub-Committee to meet as soon as possible. The sub-Committee was proposed by C J Martin and comprises [David] Bruce, [John Rose] Bradford, [Arthur Robertson] Cushny and [?]. </dc:description>
