Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Dr Gilbert Thomas Walker Encloses a communication from the Observatories Committee on the proposed reduction of the series of Colaba Magnetic Observations [not enclosed]. The Committee were authorized by the India Office to discuss the details of this matter with Walker directly. The communication is in response to recommendarions of an Observatories sub-committee that magnetic reductions and surveys be carried out in a consistent manner across the British Empire. 20 July 1906
