<dc:title>Copy letter from Theodore E James, to Professor Joseph Larmor, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Encloses a proof of Larmor's proposals for the Copley and Rumford medals [not enclosed]. The Society thinks Professor Boltzmann died about ten days ago and tomorrow's 'Nature' may confirm this. The question of the total cost of the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' volume containing the report of the magnetic survey is being looked up. The Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] will call at the Society next Monday, after which he will be abroad.</dc:description>
